At DGA Design, we believe great work starts with great relationships and that a little fun makes the process even better! We’re serious about great design, but we believe working with DGA should be anything but boring.
For more than 20 years, we’ve helped businesses look good, stand out, and grow through thoughtful, creative solutions. We take the time to understand your business, your goals, and what makes you different. Then we bring together our experience in design, photography, marketing, website development, and sales to create work that gets results.
DGA Design was founded in 2002 by Dave Mehas, a Ball State University graduate with degrees in graphic design and photography and a minor in business. Dave’s background in freelance design, full-color printing, production, and marketing gave DGA a unique blend of creative and business expertise from the start.
Dave and Alicia Wood, the original DGA creative team, had already worked together for 12 years before joining forces. Alicia, a Grace College graduate, brought experience as a graphic designer, art director, and creative director. Together, they established the creative, knowledgeable, and client-focused foundation DGA continues to build on today.
In 2005, Jill Shultz joined the team after earning a bachelor’s degree in fine art photography from Ball State University. Over the next two decades, she grew through roles in photography, office management, sales, and leadership, becoming president of DGA Design in January 2025.
Today, Jill carries forward the values that have always defined DGA: honesty, reliability, creativity, passion, and a genuine commitment to our clients’ success. She also brings fresh energy and an openness to new technology and creative tools that help us work smarter, move faster, and think bigger.
Today, DGA is a team of creative thinkers, problem-solvers, graphic designers, photographers, web designers, and genuinely good people who love what we do. We’re big enough to bring a lot of talent and expertise to the table, yet small enough to know our clients by name and truly care about their success.
